Not your average people and culture story.

We led teams before we consulted to them. Big difference.

We inherited broken teams. Made the wrong promotion call. Avoided the hard conversation one week too long and spent the next three months cleaning it up.

Other consultants arrive with a program. We arrived with battle scars. That’s not a disclaimer. That’s our value.

High-performing teams aren't found. They're created. And we know what that takes.

It started in a school staffroom

(Where else?)

Eleven years in four schools. More staff meetings than should be legally permitted and approximately two thousand cups of terrible staffroom coffee.

Our founder, Alicia, built her leadership career inside the Queensland Department of Education, moving from classroom teacher to Year Level Coordinator to Head of Department to Deputy Principal.

In practice, that meant leading people, running budgets, managing performance, driving improvement cycles, navigating change and building leadership capability across the whole organisation while also, occasionally, teaching.

"If you can lead well in a high-pressure, resource-stretched, deeply human environment, you can lead well anywhere."

The pattern

The strategy gets written.
Nobody explains it.

Same story. Different uniforms.

Construction sites, banking floors,
school staffrooms, retail back-offices.

People are people whether they are wearing hi-vis or a lanyard or a blazer they only iron for client meetings.

The same patterns keep showing up.

  • 01 Communication gets messy
  • 02 Expectations become unclear
  • 03 Leaders carry too much
  • 04 Teams stop taking ownership
  • 05 Strategy gets lost in the day-to-day
