Your team has more in it.
Something’s getting in the way.

We help businesses, organisations and schools across Australia close the gap between the team they have and the team they need.

Neuroscience-based methodology

You notice it before anyone says anything.

The person who used to bring ideas to every meeting suddenly says "yep, all good" and stares at their laptop. The high performer stops pushing back. The ownership drops. In the background, a good person is mentally 47 suburbs away while still technically being at the Monday meeting.

Meanwhile, you're thinking: why has their attitude changed?

And they're thinking: does anyone even notice what I'm doing here?

What's said in the meeting and what's said in the car park are two different conversations. That's where the problem is.

Yep, all good.

(It’s not.)

A pizza lunch won't fix this.

Neither will the team day, the DISC assessment or the "let's all just communicate better" conversation that's been had four times already.

When people don't feel valued, you get silence, resistance and disengagement. And a leader carrying the entire emotional load of the workplace wondering why they're exhausted.

The longer it sits, the more it costs. In rework, in turnover, in the energy you spend managing what should be managing itself.

3 Ways to work with me

01

Businesses

You're running the business, managing the people and putting out fires before 9am. Growth is happening but the team isn't quite keeping up. You can feel something's off even if you can't name it yet. That's usually where we start.

02

Schools

School leaders carry a particular kind of pressure that most consultants have never felt. The stretched budgets, the staff who are running on empty, the parent emails, the endless competing priorities. We understand it because we've worked inside it.

03

Organisations

Big enough to have layers. Complex enough that the communication breaks down somewhere between the executive team and the people doing the work. You need more than a one-day offsite and a shared values poster.

THE SOSA APPROACH

Here's how it works.

We skip assumptions …

1

You talk, we listen.

Your people, your pressures and what’s making leadership harder than it needs to be.

2

We map it out together.

We share what we’re seeing, what matters and what the options look like.

3

We build it around your team.

Everything gets shaped for the specific people in the room.

4

We get in and deliver.

Workshop dates, coaching sessions and alignment moments designed around you.

5

Then you get the results.

Communication gets clearer. Decisions get faster. Leaders stop being the bottleneck.

When three things work together, watch what happens.

A Venn diagram illustrating key factors for organizational success. It includes three circles labeled 'Communication,' 'Strategy,' and 'Leadership.' The overlapping areas highlight important components such as team trust, focused priorities, role clarity, and organizational performance. Outer rings list qualities like clarity, feedback, conflict resolution, momentum, alignment, and outcomes.

1‍ ‍Leadership development

Leaders who communicate clearly, hold people accountable and have the hard conversations without the fallout.

2 Team communication

Teams that talk to each other. Honestly, directly and constructively. Without the drama or the tokenistic 4:58 pm "great job team" email.

3‍ ‍Shared strategy direction

Same goal. Same page. Same team. Everyone knows where they're going and what their part in it looks like.

When all three work together, that's cohesion. And strong cohesion is what separates a team that functions from one that performs.

The other side of this looks pretty good.

  • Reactive management Knowing what to do and when to do it.
  • Constant firefighting A team that solves problems before they land on your desk.
  • Avoiding hard conversations Saying the thing without the drama.
  • Good people leaving A culture they'd recommend to a friend.
  • Everyone busy, nothing moving A team that knows where it's going and why it matters.

The founder

We've sat where you're sitting.

Alicia Savage spent 15 years leading people before she ever consulted to them.

Fifteen years at three schools, being Deputy Principal and having more staff meetings than you can count will teach you a lot about people.

She inherited broken teams. Made the wrong promotion call. Avoided a conversation one week too long and spent the next three months cleaning it up. She knows what it feels like when the pressure from above is crushing and you've got nothing left to give the people beneath you.

She also spent six years studying leadership, coaching, communication, neuroscience and human behaviour alongside all of that. Genuinely trying to understand why some teams thrive and others fall apart.

And no matter the industry, she kept seeing the same thing.

Most organisations don't have a skill problem. They have a people performance problem.

  • Communication gets messy

  • Expectations become unclear

  • Leaders carry too much

  • Teams stop taking ownership

  • Strategy gets lost in the day-to-day

And in the background, a good person is mentally 47 suburbs away while still showing up to the Monday meeting.

So she built SOSA. A practice built around the specific people, dynamics and challenges in front of us. Custom always. Embedded long enough to matter.

Today SOSA works with businesses, organisations and schools across Brisbane and Australia. Informed by neuroscience. Built on lived experience. Obsessed with the gap between where your team is and what they're capable of.

The best outcome we can imagine? You stop needing us.

Your leaders are having the conversations. Ownership sits where it should. The culture holds without someone at the top holding it together.

That's what we're working toward from day one.

The first step is a team assessment. It's where we find out what's really going on, whether it's Greg or something much bigger, and whether we're the right fit to help.
